Richard: How did you and Tony Hobdy get together to co-found Outlaw Entertainment?

Rick: Tony & I had worked together on several projects before Outlaw.

Working on other groups properties just fueled the desire to launch our own.

Richard: What do you do at Outlaw Entertainment?

Rick: Mostly business affairs but sometimes I get to work on new material. Luckily for me, its stuff I really enjoy.

Richard: Why are graphic novels gaining in popularity?

Rick: I can't speak for everyone else but I give the credit to the artist & writers. So many of them are looking to tell stories that are about more than the typical hero saving the day.

Richard: You created "Praetorian" where did the idea for this come from?

Rick: Too much detention time in catholic school.

Richard: What exactly is "Praetorian" about?

Rick: good vs. evil, love, loss all the good stuff.

Richard: Do you have any more ideas for comics?

Rick: Tons.....we all do........... now it is just a matter of time before they reach stores

Richard: What did you do before co-founding Outlaw Entertainment?

Rick: I worked mainly with Anime on both the production and business side. I have been very fortunate to have worked on terrific properties like DBZ, Evangelion & Street Fighter. Each new project taught me a lot. Before Anime, I worked in Post Production and briefly in music as a marketing rep.

Richard: How did your past jobs prepare you for your new one?

Rick: They all taught me patience. That seems to be the key ingredient when you are trying to bring a story to life.

Richard: Where would you like to see Outlaw Entertainment go next?

Rick: Right now we are just enjoying where we are. The industry is still growing and the fans are extremely supportive.

Richard: How will this company provide the best graphic novels?

Rick: Through storytelling and value to the customers. It is important to us to be able to give more than is expected.

Richard: What comics outside of Outlaw's would you recommend?

Rick: The Moe Chronicles - Tales of a Young Urban Failure

Richard: What do you do with any free time you have?

Rick: Spend it with my family and work on new stories.

Richard: How can someone contact you?

Rick: Our website is the fastest way.

Richard: What do you have to say to future readers of Outlaw comics? -

Rick: Thanks for the great feedback so far and stay tuned for more great stories.
