International Artist Search Winners!

September 23, 2009: After months of reviewing submissions, Outlaw Entertainment is proud to announce the winner of our international artist search, a worldwide quest for the best and brightest undiscovered talent in comics. Miguel Garcia, 28 of Mexico City, has been chosen to receive the grand prize, a cash reward of $1000.00.
"Well, it was certainly something above the unexpected," said Garcia following the news of his win. "After I read that there were so many talented participants from around the world, and that the judges had to take more time to decide, let's say only hope was left."
To participate in the contest, aspiring artists were asked to complete a five page sequential sample based on an existing Outlaw Entertainment script and then submit the pages prior to the July 15th deadline date. Garcia chose the sci-fi action series Jenna Blue for his submission.
"I just feel honored and thankful for this kind of opportunity," he continued. "They are certainly scarce in this media, and only provided by innovative groups and companies that want to see the comic industry grow and thrive in the future."
Two runners up were also chosen, including Diego Toro of RedFoot & Armonia (with colors by Kote Carvajal of Armonia) with their exciting and energetic entry version of Hat Trick and Judit Tondora's entry featuring Praetorian with a very sexy and sassy version of Detective Kasandra Rodriguez.
